	Conemaugh Township Planning Commission

The Conemaugh Township Planning Commission is a group of township residents appointed by the Conemaugh Township supervisors to;

Review all building permits involving more than $100,000.00 of Construction
Review Subdivision submissions
Reccomend changes and amendments to Township Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance
Make reccomendations on other necessary ordinances
Maintain the Official Township Map

The Planning Commission is made up of the following persons;

The Planning Commission is a non compensated position in Conemaugh Township. The Commission authored the current zoning and subdivision ordinances, often meeting on a weekly basis to discuss points in the ordinaces. Each ordinance took several months to complete.

The Conemaugh Township Planning Commission holds regular public meetings the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Township Building at 104 Janie Street. Township residents interested in devoting time to the Planning Commission should submit an application to the Supervisors.
