The Cover Hill Volunteer Fire Company provides emergency fire, rescue and ambulance service. Membership in the Fire Company is open to all residents of the township. The Fire Company also owns a club with a liquor license and provides catering and hall rental to help defray costs of operation.

The ambulance service is a state licensed Advanced Life Support provider. Paramedics are scheduled 24 hours a day.
