Resolution
Conemaugh Township,
Cambria County
Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Conemaugh Township,
at a public meeting held this __ day of December 1993,
Whereas, The Conemaugh Township Supervisors have adopted a zoning ordinance requiring anong other things compliance with specific technical requirements for non residential uses of property, and,
Whereas, The Conemaugh Township Supervisors require the
assistance and review of the Township Engineer in many of the
review situations involving non residential uses of property,
Now Therefore it is hereby resolved, adopted and enacted that;
1) All building permits shall be reviewed by the Township Engineer except;
a) single family residences, garages attached thereto and sheds or outbuildings less than 400 square feet in size,, where total impervious surfaces on the lot are less than ten thousand (10,000) square feet.
2) All permits shall be subject to the following fees,
a) uses exempted under section 1) above, twenty-five ($25.00) plus one dollar for every one thousand dollars of construction cost,
b) all other activities, one hundred dollars ($100.00)
plus two dollars and fifty cents per thousand dollars of construction cost,
c) In the case of incomplete applications or activities conducted contrary to the requirements of Township ordinance or state law or regulation applicable to the construction activity, the applicant shall pay in addition to the fee prescribed in a) or b) above an amount of thirty-five dollars per hour for time actually spent on the correction by the zoning officer or engineer.
3) All applications shall be obtained from and returned to he zoning officer or his assistant and referred to the engineer as set forth herein.
4) Fees shall be tendered with submission of the application and failure to so tender shall render the application incomplete and subject to rejection.
